It's buddy cop movie meets the Lord of the Rings. A couple of adventurers, different from one another in every possible way, except perhaps for their love of trouble and desire for coin, vengeance, or escape.
In this new version of A Thousand Quests and A Hundred Lifetimes, two players take on the roles of mismatched heroes questing for riches or redemption. While their personalities clash, they complement each other's style when handling trouble. Or they will, once they get to know each other a little better... which is hard when your personalities clash.
This version fits conveniently on a single page, and features a major update to the Trust system, also used in My Partner the Ghost and Team-Up.
