Rules governing social interactions fascinate me. Good moves propel the fiction, introducing nuance and opportunity. Social moves should offer a rich palette for enhancing the fiction.
I designed these moves to give players and GMs more nuanced tools for mediating social interactions. These moves don't entail any additional currency or mechanics (like bonds or ties) beyond an attribute to modify the roll.
These moves are released under a creative commons license, allowing you to incorporate and remix them with attribution.
Note: These moves are yet untested in game play. Watch this space for revisions and updates.

The Strong and Weak Responses adeptly capture nuanced reactions. However, I'm wondering if they might reduce flexibility when advancing the story. I have run Cartel, a Magpie's PbtA game about Mexican Narcofiction. Its social moves are very detailed, which sometimes caused us to get stuck.
By the way, I translate the rule into Traditional Chinese. Would you want one?
